"Abandoned buildings and machinery often incur sad feelings; that an object made to be used, is no longer worth caring about.
Visually, I often find them impressive and exciting. On the larger scale they can convey mood or exhibit interesting patterns and perspective.
On the small scale one can find pleasing compositions. Searching for these is a satisfying use of time and mind."
