Every year in Orangeville the Orangeville Optimist Club present "Christmas In The Park" in KayCee Gardens. This is a very large display of Christmas Lights and is always makes for an enjoyable walk in the christmas season.

In November of 2009 The OCC held a field trip to the Wings of Paradise Butterfly Conservatory near Guelph, On.
Way back in October 2009 we had the "Black & Orange" photo assignment and now with unequaled efficiency (many months later) we have the complete results.

General Club Meeting
On the weekend of January 23 & 24, 2010, Headwaters Photography conducted workshops to the public.
By all reports the worksops were highly successful. Special thanks to Craig Bell, Martin Lamprecht, Sandra Traversy and, Steve Noseworthy for their many efforts with this event.

This month the OCC's own Jeff Stephenson claimed multiple awards at "The Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts" Juried Photo Show.
Jeff was awarded 1st for his image "Humber Bridge" as well as two 3rds and an Honourable Mention all in various categories.

"George Eastman House", International Museum of Photo-graphy and Film has a resource online.
The site shows images, podcasts and of particular interest is an archive of "Image Magazine".

"The Learning Enterprise" - Orangeville offers affordable courses in photography and related subjects.
